Rohde & Schwarz and Runcom launch a WiMAX™ mass production test solution

Runcom Technologies LTD, a leading supplier and developer of fixed and mobile WiMAX™ solutions, and Rohde&Schwarz, a global leader in wireless communications test and measurement, announced the completion of a scalable turnkey solution for a mass production line for mobile stations (MS), based on Runcom OFDMA technology.

The Rohde & Schwarz R&S®CMW270 WiMAX communication tester calibrates Runcom’s MS over both the Tx and Rx path simultaneously and verifies MS compliance with the WiMAX™ standard IEEE802.16e-2005, so that the device is ready to market.
